The Edimburg´s fourtet met at the art school and decided to create DJANGO DJANGO in 2009. Emerging from the London scene they come with this liberating sense of humor which take us to the dance-floor, they say they don´t want to be a part of this sound-melange that bands has approached nowadays. They want to create themselves and sound properly in an aesthetic way.
Their debut selftittled album, an adventure trough 13 cuts of well thought krautrock sounds and latest 80´s eclectica, has catched the atention of the media with debut singles like Waveforms and Default. Themes like Firewater or Wor gives us a bit of rockabilly with slap basses and guitars. The art of the album also with colors, sand, an arab inscription that takes us to a journey into African vibes and coconut percussions.
