Surprisingly news when realized that New Build were going to be playing at Brussels that weekend. It was at the Botanique garden an incredible 1829 building, there are many concerts going on from the independent scene in this city, it has a great ambient and a nice terrace for tasting a good beer.
The concert was held in the La rotonde room, which is actually inside the main dome. People are circled seated with a perfect sight. The room has also a small space for dancing and even doing a little pogo. They sound very clear and practicly no big quality difference with their first edited album which goes trough many styles from a pop and fresh new wave to a folky / electronic from the 90´s. Chorus and congas remains in the air like a screamadelica rush.
Definitely a good show for this new band even when the LCD Soundsystem member wasn´t there the band performed perfectly and came back againg after public´s yells for one last song.
